Juxano processes the following categories of data depending on user activity and subscription tier:
- Audio streams (microphone and system audio)
- Transcripts generated from audio
- Screenshots or screen captures explicitly provided by the user
- Metadata required for service operation (timestamps, session identifiers, device type)
- Account and billing information (handled via third-party payment processors)
3. Purpose of Processing
Data is processed strictly for:
- Providing real-time transcription and AI-assisted features
- Improving speech recognition accuracy
- Ensuring reliability, security, and abuse prevention
- Billing and account management
4. Model Training Policy (Critical)
Speech Recognition Models
Juxano may fine-tune or improve its speech recognition systems using anonymized and aggregated audio or transcript data from users on standard plans.
Generative AI Models
Juxano does not train, fine-tune, or adapt any text-generative AI models using user conversations, transcripts, or outputs. This is a hard boundary designed to prevent leakage of sensitive or private content.
5. Subscription-Based Privacy Guarantees
Standard / Premium Plans
Anonymized data may be used to improve speech recognition systems.
Privacy Tier ($100/month)
- All data is encrypted end-to-end where technically feasible
- No data is used for training, fine-tuning, or improving any models
- No anonymized retention beyond what is strictly required for service delivery
- Data is logically isolated from training pipelines
6. Data Retention
- Default retention is minimal and configurable by the user
- Users may delete stored transcripts and audio at any time
- Deleted data is permanently removed from active systems within a reasonable technical timeframe
7. Data Sharing
Juxano does not sell user data. Data is shared only with:
- Infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the Service
- Payment processors for billing
- Legal authorities when required by law
8. User Rights
Users may request access, deletion, export, or correction of their data. Requests are honored subject to legal and operational constraints.
